Michael Lemm | | Just curious .... seems like traffic across the board at Ryze has dipped. But especially "visits" by members to other members profiles. To learn more about that person, leave a short message in their guest book, see what Ryze Groups/Networks they participate in.
So do you or don't you?
If you do what do you do "there".
If you don't .... why not?

The Eagle: Motivating Champions Around The World | |
I come here two times a week. But one of the problems is that the Network leaders don't really pay attention to their Networks. Like ABHP the network leader isn't really here all that much but as a Moderator I try to be here in her absence.

Bobbi Jo Woods | | If not already, this place is on it's way to D.E.A.D.
Since Ryze won't change to meet the requests of PAYING (and otherwise) customers/network leaders.
See post: http://www.ryze.com/posttopic.php?topicid=915124&confid=5
and others at this section: http://www.ryze.com/posts.php?confid=5
...which contains posts promising this and that and members asking for things that are never going to happen.
It's just a sign of the times. People want instant networking, sharing more simply and richly (video, photos), etc., rather than visiting traditional guestbooks/message boards, waiting for message approval, etc.
Not only that, but even despite the changes of times/expectations... it's become too hard for board owners to manage, with all the people signing up just to spam/MLM network, etc.
The sad fact is, if Ryze isn't able to compete with the other business/social media/networking sites, it will die.
Maybe some big entity will buy it (do I need to mention a name, starts with "G" and ends with "oogle"?) and make Ryze everything it should be, bring back its popularity and some new users. Typically, I hate to see it when it happens, but this would be an instance where it would be more helpful than anything. Ryze needs a shot in the arm, and either needs to get with the times or quit trying to exist and be relevant ('cause it ain't).
Let's face it. The majority of the world (as far as folks who are in the target audience) is doing business networking at:
LinkedIn.com Facebook.com Biznik.com ...and others, because of their features, ease of sharing/use and popularity. As long as Ryze continues to LACK in attracting people in droves (I mean DROVES), it will continue to suck.
Just my two cents...Private Reply to Bobbi Jo Woods |

Eileen Brown | | Hey Folks.
I am here as much as I can be. Business is good, great actually, so my time is limited for networking. I am not networking any place else, if that is a question for anyone.
I check on posts when I am online, but not working with online clients. IF there were more responses to anything any of us posts, it would still be worthwhile but the same group of folks being the only posts/replies does not bring in business here anymore.
It's all about "business" folks. Whether local or world- wide, business, for most of us, is what networking is ALL about.
Blessings to All,
Eileen :D

Lamar Morgan 954-603-7901 | | Eileen,
I am not as active on Ryze as I once was. And, I don't blame Ryze for that. It has more to do with the state of my personal economy than anything else.
However, I have to tell you that I have been the recipient of a lot of emails lately about Ryze from former Ryzers who have migrated over to Facebook. Yes, folks over on Facebook are reminiscing about Ryze and "the good ol days."
It was somewhat strange to me when I saw someone post a question about me and Althea Garner on Facebook. That person wanted to know if Althea and I were dating. Now, Althea is a friend, happily married and a grandmother living in Southern California. I live in Southern Florida. Why would anyone even think that Althea and I were dating?

Yup and I'm one of them!
I pop in every day because I know so many people there but I miss the good old days here at Ryze. FB does not have the same FEEL as Ryze!
Yes I still check Ryze profiles and introduce myself to new members etc...
But man I remember when this place was HOPPING with activity.
I miss those days.

Eileen Brown | | Hiya Folks.
FB, for me, is not what it used to be and has never been all that great. The new FB is the old "My Space" and that was never attractive to anyone who has business in mind.
The freedom that Ryze gave us is still here, however, much needed updates have not been forthcoming. Storage space, for one. I just re-upped my gold membership and I am not sure why... perhaps IF some of the updates needed show up it would be to my advantage to still be in "good stead" with Ryze and what it has to offer, in the future, maybe, perhaps...
Who knows?

Bobbi Jo Woods | | I guess the things about FB that attract me that Ryze doesn't have or do are:
- Social Platform software the site is run on which allows instant sharing of updates and passing along status/items/posts to others more easily and instantly
- The fact that over 500 million users are on FB each day and that number is growing. A good chunk of these users are business owners and there is a viable network there as well as better visibility to this world of businesspeople.
- Advertising. The advertising here at Ryze is at best, easy to ignore and often spam-worthy, or useless. "John Smith is a member of Ryze" or "Click here to earn thousands per day working at home" are not useful ads and not worth clicking on and doesn't help lend any value toward anyone else wanting to advertise on Ryze.
- It's completely free. Not tiered like Ryze for people to pay a membership to get something that you can get at Facebook for free. Last time I checked there wasn't a limit on how many posts you could do, how many photos you could upload to your album or albums you could create, or how many groups you could start or pages you could create Private Reply to Bobbi Jo Woods |

Sherry Simoes | | I do, perhaps one a week - I have made many great connections on Ryze but I have really cut back on my involvement in reagards to discussions as I rarely ever get any replies back on discussions. I do however get replies back every time on a Private Message!
I love the people I meet here - the ones who do take the time to take the time to get to know me!

greg cryns | | Michael,
The question of the value of Ryze has been buzzing in my head for some time.
It looks dead to me, but can it be revived?
I think so. I think the Ryze forums are among the best on the web. Fast. Efficient.
I don't see anyone promoting Ryze out there. Maybe we CAN revive it?
