I would have to say that I don't dance in the rain, I instead love to cuddle up with a book, my child or my husband and listen to the tink-pink-tink of it hitting the aluminum patio roof.... its so relaxing and calming. :)

That's an interesting thought. Don't wait for the storm to pass. Learn to dance in the rain. I suppose there are a lot of folks who need to learn how to dance in today's rainy economy. Gene Kelly could both sing and dance in the rain. But, most of us are not like him...and he's no longer with us. So, do you have any recommendations for "dancing in the rain?"

How about it folks .... let's see the ABHP community weigh in with what YOU think.
Simple mind set or "complex" methodology ... whatever. Share your thoughts.
For me ... it's more about attitude. Be yourself .... have fun .... stick with it ... and pass it on. Nothing is as bad as it seems. Make lemonade out of lemons.

I think the ability to "dance in the rain" depends upon numerous factors. There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution.
One of the reasons (hopefully) I can dance in my rainy situation is because I left California for Florida. The environment that I found myself in California was pulling me down. The environment here in Florida is seeking to do the exact opposite. Why can't you accomplish the exact same thing anywhere? Answer: People.
If you cannot connect with CARING PEOPLE where you live, you live in the wrong community. It took me nearly 10 years to face up to that reality. But, thank God, I finally learned. You cannot stand up to a corrupt community and successfully remain a resident. To survive, you have to change your base of operation.
